Goodbye, BRU.

I just called and resigned from the baby store. It is silly really. I shouldn't be so emotional and upset about it, but I am. I loved working there.

Feeling Better, Thanks.

Life was good and my toys were especially delicious. I had this cool new outfit that said "Mommy's Little Monster." The size 9-month Carter clothes fit perfectly, Mommy said. This was a reason to get some new clothes.

I enjoy putting everything in my mouth. The world, quite frankly, is delicious.

I was enjoying daycare with Brenda and my friends Logan and Eric. I ride in a van with them and play and take naps and drink mommy milk from a bottle. I like putting things in my mouth at Brenda's house, too.

One day after being at Brenda's house all day, Mommy was there! We got in the big red van with Aunt Meredith, Uncle Jerry and that big dog that likes to lick my head and drove to Gram and Pap's house. I slept most of the way. It was fine.
Pap was nice enough to read to me. I think Pap might like me. A lot.

I don't know what "What's wrong with his eye." or "Sick" or "Snot" means, but my Mommy sure keeps pissing me off by wiping my eyes and nose and squirting water up my nose and then suctioning it out with the evil blue thing.
Mommy still made me get dressed up in this outfit. She kissed me extra times, so I think I looked extra cute. Grandma Carolyn bought it for me.
We celebrated my runny nose and crusty eye with candy and a new ducky toy. Mommy called it "Easter." I'm not sure why you celebrate crustiness, but ok, Mommy, I'll smile for you.
What's that? I have RSV? I don't know what that means, but now Mommy, Daddy and Aunt Larry are squirting crap up my nose and suctioning me. It REALLY pisses me off.
I went to see Dr. Hoop. I weigh 17.5 pounds and I have an ear infection and a bad cough. My friend Eric from daycare went to the hospital. Mommy said I couldn't go there, I had to get better. I tried, but they kept pissing me off!
Then you know what? They made me drink COLD pink yucky stuff. It sucked, really and truly. I cried every time and brought out my old friend, the Tomato Baby.
Mommy tried to make up for it by giving me some sweet, white paste. I played along. It made her happy.

But really I felt like crap.
But I tried. Because I love my Mommy.
Daddy gave me some of the paste too.

I started to feel a lot better. Aunt Larry went away. It was sad; I love Aunt Larry.

Meanwhile, Daddy is delicious!

I love my Daddy.
Sometimes, when Mommy tries to do stupid things to me, Daddy doesn't let her. But he wasn't home one time, so she put this hood on my head and made me smile a lot.

Now that I'm feeling better, I can keep trying out new baby tricks. My latest trick is to be on my hands and knees and then half sit up. I don't quite make it... I fall over and mommy says "Uh oh, you knocked your melon!" I don't know what that means, but it makes her laugh.

Daddy says if I knew how close I was to crawling, I would do it. They keep putting toys just out of my reach. Jerks.

But I love them. A lot. It's a lot warmer outside lately. Mommy bought me this cute jacket.

Thanks for visiting my blog. It was cool to have you here, Dude.
Guess what? Mommy says Grandpa Dave and Grandma Carolyn are coming to visit tomorrow! I am very excited. They are super cool.
And then, you know what? I get to see Aunt Meredith, Uncle Jerry, the licking doggie, Gram, Pap, Uncle Nate, Aunt Larry and my dearest Auntie Melanie and Uncle Rob next weekend. Mommy makes me dance whenever she tells me about it. We are going to see a baseball game. Mommy says this was a reason for her to buy me some new clothes. I don't know why she needed an excuse. I've got a lot of clothes.
I like clothes. And shoes. (That's mommy talking, not me, by the way...)

You'll come back sometime, won't you?
